April TBR

Books being published in April that will continue to add to my #bookproblems…

This book pairs middle age alchemy with present day angst. If you could make gold, what would you do? Get in to Harvard? Move to Silicon Valley? What could go wrong?

There is a pet mongoose in this one. Nuff. Said. There’s also apparently an enchanted “locomotive” not train, and the focus is on being truly seen, sometimes better by strangers than those the closest to us.

Scavenger hunt with ecoterrorists. Attacks climate change, endangered species, and is also a thriller – interest piqued!

I’m a big fan of Sally Hepworth. the premise is that there is a good sister and a bad sister, but knowing her previous work, there’s probably a large twist!!!

This one is about a serial killer, whose death mask is stolen, and imbues the thief with his “soul” so the carnage begins again.

Jamaican-inspired story of two enemy witches teaming up against a common bigger enemy. Yes please.

Accidental murder. Wedding prep for thousands of guests. Aunties to come fix it all – sounds funny and described as a murder mystery meets rom com.
